RE-REGISTER!!

okay...so by the title of this thread, im sure you all know that i have decided to actually go through with the transition to a new forum location independent of Forumer.com.

what i need of all our current members at this point, no matter how often you post, is to re-register at the new forum. here is the address...

...please use the same username you have here at this board. whether you use the same password or not is up to you. i would like members to use the same usernames so i can track how many people have made the change and when. also feel free to upload your avatars, and update your profiles and signatures. but for now, dont do any posting.

the intention is to make next Friday, August 24th the launch date for the new forum. consider 12:01am the end of posting on this board, and the start of posting on the new board.

as im sure youve noticed, ive pinned this thread in every category so that it is plainly seen. i will also be sending out a mass email as well as adding a banner on this forum to let occasional visitors know about the new board.

as for all the little details...i will be working on those through the next couple weeks. i am trying to make this change as easy for the members as possible, but i guess im also forced into making the change quickly as well. i want to keep as many of the familiar elements as i possibly can.

i will also get our moderators set up with mod accounts on the new board as soon as i see their new registration.

and as always, feel free to ask any questions, but please do it in the thread located in "Forum Info" (this one!!). since there are four identical threads, im going to close the other three to replies to avoid confusion.

not a problem...i pretty much broke my own rule as well. i guess i was more concerned with the actual Flyers and hockey-related topics than anything else.

and BTW for all the members...almost everything seems to be in order at the new board. just 1-2 more things to iron out that i know of, but if you find anything out of place or missing, let me know.

Dang it.... Nate, it appears that I either wasn't sent the activation email or I deleted it accidentally (probably the 2nd one )....

Is there any way you can send it again... or do I need a new username?
